Yesterday the postman brought a nice big box of soy silk from Joggles so I'm planning an afternoon of silk fusion play.

In between taking care of this little sweetie:

This is my sweet girl Gertie.  She had to have some surgery yesterday on one of her ears.  She's doing pretty well but she is not liking that cone at all!  But she has to wear it to keep her from scratching at her ear.   Gertie is a cocker spaniel, she's 10 and she's been with me for 3 years now.  We rescued her and her mom (Robyn) from a breeder that was going to put them down because she didn't want to breed anymore (which is beyond my ability to comprehend).  Robyn is 13 now and she's doing great for her age.  They are my constant companions during the day and are so sweet and loveable.  I love em both so much!
