I spent most of the day yesterday making up 7 sheets of silk fusion. Joanna asked me to make her one in the same colorway that I used for the one that I donated for the greenpeace auction so this one is for her:
And I was on a bit of a roll with making them this morning so I also made these two:
and this one:
I've put these extra ones out on my sale page here. I've still got a lot of silk fusion sheets left and I'm thinking that a silk fusion teapot may be in my future...
Well my online silk fusion class began this past Tuesday and a few of my students have started posting some of their fabulous results from lesson one on their blogs:
Stitchtherapy has posted a photo of her wonderfully elegant version of the silk fusion envelope.
and Judy's version is so vibrant and bright and she's added some Swarovski crystals to hers for a little extra sparkle.
Vicki turned her first silk fusion sheets into a gorgeous journal cover.
Dakota's envelope has a fun and playful look and don't you just love these colors!
I think all of these turned out fantastic! We've got a fairly large class but not everybody has posted just yet so hopefully I'll have some more of their projects to share. It's such a kick for me to see how different everybody's interpretation of the projects turn out, it's my favorite part of teaching.
And there's still time to get in on the class - registration is still open and there's plenty of time to get supplies and get started! Even after class is officially over I'm still available for support and the forums stay open until the next session begins.
