I've been busy this past week working on taking photos for another one of the lessons for the new Creative Bookmaking online class and ended up making two more samples:
and the stab stitched:
The clay embellishment on this one came from Gina. I thought it was perfect for this book. I aged the paper used on the outside of this book with distress ink pads. The inside of this book is filled with coffee paper.
mmmm what I have to look forward to in the class...I can´t wait!!!!

More beautiful books! I'm so glad you found a use for the clay piece - your book shows it off at its best!
I love that you've used eco-friendly papers!

Sue I LOVE your books!
I just learned that soywax washes out in the laundry... is that how you get rid of it, or do you iron it out? I am going to have to try some, I can tell...

Everything you do is beautiful, Sue, but i'm especially in love with the design of the post bound book!
Your soy batiks are gorgeous, too!

Sue you continue to inspire with your beautiful handcrafted works of art. You really have an eye for exactly what items compliment one another. I did not know about coffee paper. Thank you.
